BIS has moved to its new premises
We are pleased to inform you that BIS has moved to its new premises in Dedinje. Our new modern campus is large enough to accomodate both Primary and Secondary schools in the same building. There are three different entrances allowing separation of Primary and Secondary students, a big gym/multi-purpose hall, three computer rooms and plenty of outdoor play area for students of all ages. Spring Bazaar 2008
On 17th May our students and staff, joined by a number of people from the international and local communities of Belgrade, spent a pleasant Saturday at the BIS Spring Charity Bazaar. The charity cause behind this year’s Bazaar was collecting funds for the Serbian para-olympc table tennis Champion, Borislava Peric.read more >
"Renaissance" Concert
On Wednesday, 21st May all our students and teachers enjoyed the concert held at BIS Hall by the Serbian music group “Renaissance” The concert had its theme: songs from different dramas by William Shakespeare. Members of “Renaissance” played their music on instruments from Shakespeare’s time, so the sound of the songs was a learning experience for all those less familiar with medieval and Renaissance music. view in gallery >
BIS involved in World Maths Day 2008
BIS student have been working hard over the past few weeks competing against students from around the world in Internet based arithmetic tests. Students calculated over 164000 before the event, and over 34500 on 5 March (World Math Day) itself. read more >
Council of Europe Representatives visit BIS
On Friday, 19th October, BIS had the pleasure of hosting Ms. Boer Buquicchio, Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Europe who, with a delegation from the Council of Europe, visited our school as part of her visit to Belgrade. This event was preceded by the participation of BIS Primary students at the European Flag Raising Celebration in front of the Serbian Parliament, where our students sang in front of a large public audience.
We wish to take this opportunity to thank the delegation of the Council of Europe headed by Ms. Buquicchio for bringing presents to our students on the occasion of their visit to BIS. view in gallery >
