The Principal, Aleksandra Keserović, was educated at the University of Belgrade, receiving a Master of Arts in Musicology. She is a qualified teacher and an accomplished professional vocalist. Ms Keserović was the co-founder of IHSB along with the late Dr. Jonathan Rider.

The Deputy Principal Mr. Ritchie King has taught both Mathematics and Computing within the state sector in Scotland and as Assistant House Master at Gordonstoun School in Scotland before moving abroad to gain a deeper understanding of education within an international environment. He has worked extensively in South East Asia and the Middle East. He joined the British International School after spending time with Harrow International School in Beijing where, as one of the founding members of staff, he had assisted in the development of the school, its systems and educational ethos. Mr King has brought a wealth of international experience and knowledge to British International School, Belgrade.
