The Duke of Edinburgh Award reinstated at BIS BIS is a sole Balkan's operator for the Duke of Edinburgh Award for young people.  This prestigious programme comprises sound knowledge of basic expedition skills, namely: equipment, navigation and route planning, camp craft, food, safety requirements, first aid, group skills, environment, country code, observation and recording in addition to the specific skills related to the specific type of journeying.Students must undergo the necessary training and undertake an appropriate number of practice ventures before taking part in the qualifying venture. This month students went to the very popular climbing destination Borski Stol for camping. |
