The School Board

The School Board acts as an advisory and decision-making body in important school issues. The Board consists of parental representatives, teaching representatives and management. The parental representatives are voted into place by the parental body.

The Parent Teacher Association

BIS values close co-operation with the parental body. The PTA brings parents together to strengthen the vital link between home and school. All parents are automatically members of the PTA and their involvement in school activities is encouraged. The PTA organises meetings and forums on educational matters and other issues of interest to parents thus enabling them to gain a greater understanding of school policies. Teachers and Management also get the opportunity to hear the views of parents. The PTA's fundraising social events are great fun and very popular. The PTA gives parents a real place in the school community.
