The European Day of Languages has been celebrated every year since 2001 on 26th September. It celebrates linguistic and cultural diversity in Europe and the importance of language learning worldwide.
For this occasion, our KS4 MFL students visited Goethe-Institute, Cervantes Institute and French Cultural Centre where they participated in various activities, quizzes, language games and workshops, not only about French, German and Spanish languages and cultures, but also about Dutch, Swedish, Turkish, Greek etc…
Our students enjoyed a variety of fun activities based on languages, but also found out more about diversity and cultural heritage of Europe.
