BIS IGCSE art students recently visited a very interesting exhibition opened at the gallery ‘New Moment’ set in the city centre. They saw 50 original prints selected from a private collection. The selection was produced was by the owners of the collection.
The exhibition was named ‘The Four Cats’ (Cuatro Gatos) and presented graphics as the medium of one of the most important artists of the modern era – Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali, Joan Miro and Antoni Tapies.
The title of the exhibition comes from a name of the famous café in Barcelona – Cuatro Gatos known for being the largest gathering place of artists in Barcelona in the early 20th century.
