Year 3 got the wonderful opportunity to visit the Stone Age site of Vinca. As we have been learning about the Stone Age in both history and English, it was great to see some practical examples of the different things we have been studying.
The students were able to see how people lived in Belgrade thousands of years ago and saw how people’s lives differed to our own.
We were also fortunate to have a local archaeologist show us some of the amazing artefacts they had found, and he explained how these ancient items had been used to decode the past.
