World Book Day - British International School

To celebrate the International event the children and teachers of the primary school had a book themed day. Every one got into the event by dressing up as their favourite character from a book. Costumes ranged from Sherlock Holmes, to Spider Man to Tinker Bell and the Very Hungry Caterpillar.

The afternoon activities were dedicated to ‘Book Workshops’ catering for different year groups and different styles of writing. The children enjoyed listening to fairy tales on CD, read books by Dr. Seuss & Roald Dahl, find out about detective stories and aliens who wore underpants (!!) as well as participating in a Literacy Treasure Hunt.

All in all the day was a great successful and another event that the children will remember.
