The Director of Education, Aleksandra Keserovic, was educated at the University of Belgrade, receiving a Master of Arts in Musicology. She is a qualified teacher and an accomplished professional vocalist. Ms Keserovic was the cofounder of IHSB along with the late Dr Jonathan Rider.

The Head of Primary, Gareth Evans has been teaching since 1996, having trained in Primary education at the University of Durham. He has held senior leadership positions in Greece, Belgium and Tunisia as well as the UK. Mr Evans is also a trained inspector for the Independent Schools Inspectorate and Lead Improvement Partner for COBIS. Recently, Mr Evans has trained as an executive level coach and completed his professional headship qualification.

Deputy Head of Primary, Michelle Moors has been dedicated to teaching in international schools since 2012, with extensive experience across Key Stage 2 (KS2) and Key Stage 3. The majority of her career was spent in Shanghai, where she played a pivotal role in curriculum development and team management. Her leadership and expertise were instrumental in shaping and enhancing the school’s educational programs.

The Head of Secondary, Steven Winter has been teaching since 2001. For the past fifteen years, he has been a senior leader in schools focusing on leadership development, change management and founding schools. He has founded two schools in London – Richmond Park Academy in 2010 and Maida Vale School in 2020. Mostly recently he has worked internationally in Saudi Arabia and Lithuania. He is a trained inspector for the Independent Schools Inspectorate in the UK.
