Spring Charity Bazaar - British International School

On 21st May BIS held its traditional Spring Charity Bazaar. This year the proceeds of the Bazaar were dedicated to the people of Japan who have suffered the consequences of the recent earthquake and tsunami. The guest of Honour on this occasion was Dr Akira Yamami, First Secretary of the Embassy of Japan.

Numerous visitors enjoyed the flavour of international cuisines, and the colourfulness of various items displayed by a number of embassies, companies and individuals. The peak of the event, like every other year, was raffle with valuable prizes such as one week holiday in Greece, a long weekend in Kopaonik, beauty treatments in spa centres, etc. Our parental community made an effort by donating items for baskets with different themes.
